Scope and legal framework
This privacy policy explains which personal data may be processed when visiting this website. The controller’s address is in Switzerland. The policy therefore takes the Swiss Data Protection Act into account. Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, especially for visitors from the European Union or the European Economic Area including Liechtenstein, it is also taken into account.
Note on the .li domain
The .li domain points to Liechtenstein. This does not automatically mean that the provider has an establishment in Liechtenstein. Relevant factors include who operates the website, where data is processed and which law applies in the specific case.
Server data
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technically necessary server data such as IP address, date and time, requested file, transferred data volume, browser type, operating system and referrer. This serves delivery, security, stability and troubleshooting.
No cookies, no tracking, no local browser storage
This main page and the contact form set no cookies, create no user accounts, use no third party advertising and use no tracking tools. The contact form does not use local browser storage for rate limiting.
Contact form
When the contact form is submitted, the entered message and optional name and email address are processed to answer the request. The message is forwarded to the address set up for the contact form. A simple server side 60 second rate limit is used to prevent misuse. For this purpose, a short lived technical key derived from the IP address may be processed. The arithmetic question is checked without an external provider.
External links
This website links to external services such as Amazon, Orell Füssli and other websites. External websites are loaded only after a link is clicked. From that point on, the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.
Rights
Depending on applicable law, affected persons may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or object to certain processing. Where the GDPR applies, complaint rights with a competent supervisory authority may exist. In Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner is competent; in Liechtenstein, the Data Protection Office is competent.
